Films are just the begining. Meet community partners and get connected with organizations and artists at our Friday reception where you can also catch a live performance from Tarik Shah. At the Sunday celebration meet Rashaan Thomas and Tiffany Cruz. At every screening hear from incarceration surivors who are featured in the films, are filmmakers, or are doing amazing things after surviving incarceration!

In Virginia the only way to get your right to vote restored is with the governor's approval. We're joining with Nolef Turns and the League of Women Voter's to canvas neighborhoods to support the Virginia Consitutional Amendment that's on the ballot in November.

What happens when students from Ivy League Dartmouth go to a local jail to work with women to put on a play? Expectations are shattered and bridges are built.
Followed by a conversation with Malika Mitchell, who was incarcerated during filming and is now a Dartmouth grad student, and Pati Hernandez, the facilitator of the theater program.
